![]() I stopped in here for dinner and from the moment I sat down I should of just. Red Lobster Isn’t the Red Lobster from a few years ago.From the food (Seafood) they serve its very poor quality and it’s more about quantity at Red Lobster! Her lack of help looks terrible on Darden and the Red Lobster brand. She completely failed to take any responsibility and try and help our situation. The incompetence of the girl responding to customers was the most frustrating part. Red Lobster needs to properly train their staff on how to help customers! There is obviously a lack of training around who is responsible if a delivery is not delivered and the order has been placed through the Red Lobster app. We will no longer be patronizing this Red Lobster and I will encourage others to avoid this location until they get their act together. I have given up on Red Lobster's service and will be disputing the charge with my bank since Red Lobster won't take responsibility for helping us. Its now been around 2 hours since I placed the order. The DoorDash rep responds that because we ordered through the Red Lobster app, we'd have to get a refund from Red Lobster and there is nothing they can do to help. I finally receive a response from DoorDash and I explain the situation. She takes our phone number so the manager can call us later. The girl on the phone explains to my wife that she is not the General Manager and that the General Manager is not there tonight so she can't help us. She explains to her that the number they gave us is for restaurants only and, again, that we ordered through the Red Lobster app, not DoorDash. While I'm waiting for the DoorDash rep on the chat app, my wife calls the Red Lobster and talks to the same girl that I've talked to. Its now over an hour since our food was supposed to be delivered and we are quite hungry. I check my order and confirm that I did put in the correct address on my order. While I wait, I try texting the driver and receive a response that she dropped it off at the wrong address. Not having any other choice, I login to their chat service and begin to wait for a representative to respond. The message says that the only way to contact their customer service is through their chat option on the website. I call DoorDash and their prerecorded message says that they are only accepting calls from restaurants or drivers, not customers. She gives me a DoorDash phone number and hangs up. ![]() I explain again that the charge is showing up as Red Lobster, not DoorDash and that I ordered from the Red Lobster app, not DoorDash. The manager says that all that I can do is call DoorDash and they will refund the charge. I call the local Red Lobster back and explain that the only phone number listed on my order confirmation is the local Red Lobster and that there is no contact info for DoorDash listed. I check the text message from DoorDash and try calling the driver but it goes straight to voicemail. The only number listed is the local Red Lobster number. I hang up and pull up my confirmation email. I explained to her that I used the Red Lobster app and the charge came through from Red Lobster but she said that their store couldn't do anything and I would have to call the number on my confirmation. I called the Red Lobster that we ordered from and the girl who answered said that because it was a DoorDash delivery I would have to call DoorDash. from DoorDash that said that our food had been delivered but no delivery had shown up at our house. The order confirmation from Red Lobster said it would be delivered at about 6:30pm. We ordered from the Red Lobster app to have food delivered tonight from the Sounthlands location at around 5:50pm.
